At the centre of this plate is a hand-painted winter cottage scene — a small red-roof house nestled among snowy trees, a winding river flowing past, and a little black cat sitting by the water’s edge.  Soft brushstrokes and gentle colour transitions create a dreamy, storybook atmosphere, as if a peaceful moment has been paused in time.

Surrounding the illustration, irregular cloud-like dots in shades of blue and cream frame the scene, giving the plate a playful, artistic border while keeping the overall look calm and balanced.
